November 2025 Monthly Discussion Forum on Ageing (MDFA)
With Kenya experiencing a rapid growth in its ageing population, a shift that brings both challenges and opportunities for social policy, community planning, and service delivery, the need for informed dialogue has never been greater. In response to this evolving landscape, and in alignment with the UN Decade of Healthy Ageing, the November Monthly Discussion Forum on Ageing (MDFA) will offer a structured platform for dialogue, knowledge sharing, and advocacy.
This month’s theme, “Growing Older with Dignity: Understanding Healthy Ageing in Kenya,” will guide discussions as stakeholders from government, civil society, the private sector, academia, and older persons come together to examine emerging issues, share solutions, track progress, and raise awareness on key aspects of healthy ageing.
