From Dialogue to Action: 13th Monthly Discussion Forum on Ageing Strengthens Partnerships Ahead of UNIDOP 2026.
The 13th Edition of the Monthly Discussion Forum on Ageing (MDFA) was successfully held on 29th July 2026 at AIC Milimani, Nairobi, bringing together Older Persons’ Organizations (OPOs), older persons, representatives from the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection, the National Gender and Equality Commission (NGEC), civil society organizations, academia, and other key stakeholders under the theme, “Strengthening the Engagement Capacity of Older Persons’ Organizations (OPOs) Towards the United Nations International Day of Older Persons (UNIDOP) 2026.” The forum concluded with participants registering to join the various planning sub-committees and a collective call for sustained collaboration, resource mobilization, and active stakeholder engagement to ensure the successful delivery of the National Older Persons Conference and UNIDOP 2026.
