Ageing Together: Building a Community for All Generations
The 14th Edition of the Monthly Discussion Forum on Ageing (MDFA) held on 26th August 2026 at Kariokor social hall, provided a platform for meaningful intergenerational dialogue on family responsibility, work and retirement, leadership and governance, and financial independence. Participants highlighted the importance of moving from blame to shared responsibility by promoting intergenerational mentorship, challenging age-based stereotypes, preparing early for old age, and creating inclusive spaces for all generations. The forum reaffirmed that every generation has something to teach, something to learn, and something to contribute towards building inclusive communities where everyone can age with dignity.
