International Women’s Day (IWD) 2025.
International Women’s Day (IWD) is an annual occasion for ACF to celebrate the remarkable achievements of older women while advocating for their rights within our communities. This year’s IWD will be marked on March 7, 2025, at the Likuyani Sub County offices in Kakamega County. The overall goal is to raise awareness of the transition from the National Health Insurance Fund to the Social Health Authority and coordinate enrollment of older persons into the program that will promote UHC fit for older persons while championing for enhanced community-based approaches to healthy ageing.
