Universal Health Coverage (UHC) Day 2025
The Universal Health Coverage (UHC) Day is the annual rallying point for the global movement for health for all marked on the 12th December, serves as a global call to ensure that everyone, everywhere, can access quality health services without financial hardship. Anchored on the UN Universal Health Coverage (UHC) agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 3.8) principle of “Leaving No One Behind,” the day offers us the opportunity to raise our voices and demand that governments invest in UHC and ensure it meets the needs and upholds the rights of older people
The UHC agenda is deeply connected to our work in healthy ageing. As part of this national observance, we will join Migori County Older Persons Association (OPAs) to mark the day on 12th December 2025 at Ongito Dispensary, Migori County.
