Enkitoo Older Persons Association, Narok County – South Rift Kenya
The group membership is constituted of about forty older men and women who run sustainable agricultural initiatives aimed at promoting opportunities for food security and enhanced community cohesiveness as they come together to plan for produce, market access and scalability. Given the rich ‘MAA’ community culture where the association is based, the members also carry out beads making commonly referred to in the native Kiswahili language as Ushanga Initiative steered by the older women of the group.
